Our School Program

Why Our program?

Research indicates that brain expansion in children occurs rapidly during early stages of development as they absorb information from their experiences, observations, and environment. It is important to recognize that no child grows up in a perfect home environment, possessing flawless cognitive and behavioral function, or exhibiting perfect emotional expression. Additionally, children do not always have a perfect way of processing and interpreting the world around them. These factors can contribute to various mental health issues both in the future as an adolescent and even throughout adulthood.

For instance, a child who is unable to express frustration properly or is exposed to violent behavior at home may develop anger issues either in the present or later in life. Moreover, mental disorders such as depression and anxiety can have genetic components and are experienced by approximately 1 in 5 individuals during their lifetime. Shockingly, suicide ranks as one of the leading causes of death among children in the United States.

As human beings, we inevitably encounter discomfort and face challenges that can impact our emotional well-being. However, through our school programs, we have the opportunity to teach children healthy coping mechanisms. By doing so, we can reduce the likelihood of them developing mental disorders and other psychological issues that may affect them presently or in the future. Schools should not solely focus on imparting academic knowledge, but also provide guidance on navigating life, especially when such essential skills are not adequately taught at home.

Let us delve deeper into our research to understand the significance of this matter.

What does our school program consist of?

Through our School Program, we establish partnerships with schools across the USA, enabling us to provide students with valuable tools to address emotional issues and promote healthy coping mechanisms. Our program offers individual exercises for grades five and up, that can be incorporated into classroom time, allowing students to engage in brief activities tailored to their specific needs. The app's algorithm ensures that the exercises are constantly updated based on the issues the students may be facing. Additionally, for grades kindergarten to fourth grade, we provide teachers with exercises developed and endorsed by registered psychologists, designed to address and teach manageable methods to combat a wide range of issues on a broader scale.

The exercises we offer encompass various approaches, including prompts for reflection, open class discussions on topics that impact many students, and even opportunities for emotional expression through drawings for our younger children. Moreover, Students in grades five and above will have tailored exercises to address their specific needs. It is important to note that we prioritizes student privacy, and as such, we will not give access to institutions with the content written by the students. However, as part of our commitment to student safety and well-being, schools will be alerted if the app detects concerning language. This allows schools to intervene and provide support when necessary, while still respecting the students' privacy. This proactive approach ensures that teachers are promptly alerted to any concerning input that may affect individual students or a group of students collectively. Our focus is on creating a secure and supportive environment for students to engage in exercises that promote their mental health and emotional well-being.

By implementing these strategies within the school setting, we aim to create a supportive environment that nurtures students' mental well-being. Our program recognizes the importance of addressing emotional issues and equipping both students and teachers with effective tools to promote mental health.
